Packaging for handmade products – what should you know


As an owner of a handmade business, you must realise how vital your product packaging is to your credibility as entrepreneur. How you ship and deliver your products to your clients’ homes says a lot about your values and branding.

Packaging that’s thoughtfully created makes a big impression on your public and helps you stay longer in their minds. As a homemade business entrepreneur, you should think of packaging as a tool to help you delight your clients and promote your brand in a flattering way. But it’s challenging to craft packaging because it’s the result of a mix of factors like function, technology, and design.

So, ask yourself, What would my clients want from the package of my product? Do they prefer cardboard boxes or a more intricate package?

Less is more

You probably heard the phrase reduce, reuse, recycle a hundred times, but we cannot stress enough how important it is. The words are used in this order because by reducing the amount of supplies you use, you reduce the waste you produce.
